Project Oh! Magazine 2015
We are only a couple of months into 2015 — or should I say “already” into? I don’t know; it’s all relative — but we have a lot to work on. The plan for this year is to switch things up a little bit and see what happens. This year we still plan on putting out 4 issues, but our approach is going to be a little different. Each issue will be loosely, or not-so-loosely, based around a theme and each will be their own project with its own team. Anyone can get involved. Our theme ideas, as of today, will be: the 70s, high fashion/ surrealism, body art (body painting vs tattoo)/Graffiti, and another Horror/Halloween/Fantasy concept. We will have a few features for each issue as well as submissions from other local artists. We also might reach outside of Bakersfield for some collaborations as well.
The concept is still the same. We want to showcase local art and work on projects together. But, we want to make projects bigger and more involved. Everything has been fun so far and we want to keep it going. Submissions can still be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or dropped off at our studio to be photographed. If you have a project in mind that you think would make for a good feature, feel free to contact us.
