Project Oh! Studio Closes Doors
On April 1st, 2021 at 12:01 am PST Project Oh! announced plans for discontinuing the Project Oh! studio just one year shy of the 10 year milestone. When reached for comment, a representative said, “we felt it was important to keep our studio open during the time we were closed due to the pandemic last year. Now that things are showing signs of opening back up, our team felt it was a good time to close down permanently.”
The studio will remain partially active through the remainder of April and will announce future plans by May 1st, 2021. The Project Oh! representative hinted at future possibilities stating, “our team will meet later this month to discuss our plans moving forward, but there have been a few ideas floating around involving telecommunications. Our community needs to stay connected more than ever, and we think this just might be the perfect time to invest in the Betamax pager device exclusively on our LaserDisc anti-streaming service.”
Whatever the future may bring, it is clear this group is always thinking about the future when it is not lying dormant in suspended animation.
