It was a dark and stormy night…well, maybe not stormy, but definitely dark. To be exact, it was a dark January 17th night, and the Project Oh! crew was in full force for the second celebratory release event of Project Oh! Magazine. Wait. Come to think of it, most nights are dark, right? Anyway, It was a dark and January 17th night; the sun had falleth below the line of horizon, and there was no light except for the warm glow of a lone shoppe known as The Bakersfield Skateboard Co. — our host for the evening. Within its walls, copies of our latest edition could be found alongside the displayed works of featured local artists Erwin Ledford and Kevin Gardner. We were also fortunate to be joined by cover model Adrianna Espitia who was on hand to personalize each copy with an autograph.
Overall, it was a great night. Drinks and snacks were provided and guests had a chance to meet and greet some of the artists involved in the latest issue. All copies of the magazine were sold and our featured artists were able to show and sell some of their work as well. We are thankful to The Bakersfield Skateboard Co. who not only hosted the event, but also sponsored the latest issue and signed on to be an official vendor for the magazine. We also want to thank Savage Radio for producing and running our radio spot and for promoting the event, and of course to everyone who came out and supported.
